The role of our group within the CRYOCYTE project is mainly dealing with lysosomal enzymes focusing on cathepsins gene cloning and sequencing, gene expression and assay optimization of cystein- (cat B and Cat L) and aspartic- (cat D) proteinases activities. Determination of lysosomal enzyme activities during sea bream and zebra fish oocyte maturation and embryo development correlated with yolk mobilizations.
Prof Oliana Carnevali: Associate professor of Developmental Biology, PhD in molecular biology. Good experience on egg quality in teleost. Scientific coordinator of Partner 6 group.
Dr Marco Cardinali: Ph.D. in Biology, with an high expertise in molecular biology. Post-doctoral position focused on CRYOCYTE project for technical coordination.
Dr Cristina Cionna: Degree in Marine Biology; Post-graduated fellow fully involved on molecular Cathepsin B, D and L gene expression and cDNA library set up and keeping .
Dr Ike Olivotto: Ph.D. student in Marine Ecology and Biology. High expertise in fish management
Dr Francesca Maradonna: Ph.D. student in Marine Ecology and Biology. High expertise in molecular biology and in fish management.
Claudia Di Rosa: Undergraduate student with thesis project on Cathepsin L and B cloning and sequencing in GSB and ZF.
Verdecchia Varinia: Undergraduate student with thesis project on YP characterization in oocytes at different stages by SDS-PAGE and Western Blotting analyses in both GSB and ZF
